Chris Bird spent the 80s in media across newspapers and commercial radio, before founding Bird Consultancy in 1990, whilst managing PR for Betfred, JD Sports, and Manchester City FC. He joined Manchester City in 1998 as a media consultant, became COO in 1999, and revitalised the club, overseeing its return to the Premier League. Afterward, he held executive roles in sports and media, including 12 years as a JD Sports director. In 2021, he founded EQ Esports & Gaming.
