That’s a wrap for now! ☀️🛼

We’re taking a little summer break while everyone enjoys the holidays, but we’ll be back in September with more roller disco fun, great music, games, laughs and plenty of skating.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has come along, supported us and helped make Yorkshire Roller Disco such an amazing community already. Seeing so many people discovering (or rediscovering!) skating has been incredible.

Keep an eye on our page over the summer, as we’ll be announcing our September dates soon.

Until then… enjoy the sunshine, keep rolling if you can, and we’ll see you back on the rink before you know it!

Are you looking for birthday party ideas that are a bit different?

How about a private roller disco birthday party ✌️

It’s perfect for all abilities, our skate marshals will have everyone up and skating no matter their ability.

It’s great also great fun too. Music, lights, skating around - what’s not to like? 😘

It’s also a great activity for friends to bond over, not to mention a confidence builder as well, as they’ll all be leaving having learnt a new skill, or improved their existing skate skills.

This time tomorrow we’ll be rolling at the Poppleton Centre in York!

Can’t wait to see everyone there, and for those undecided - what’s going on?? We know the weather looks good, but these are evening plans!

Tickets are available via the link in our bio or you can pay on the door, just remember it’s cash only.

Did we also mention that the Poppleton Centre also had a bar? You could finish with a well earned drink, just don’t drink and skate 🥴

We get asked all the time “is it okay if I've never skated before?”

And are answer is always the same “Yass!

In fact, loads of people who come to Yorkshire Roller Disco are complete beginners. Some arrive nervous, some spend the first few minutes holding on to the side, and by the end they're cruising round the floor.

We've got skate marshals on hand to help, a supportive community who were all behhinners once, and absolutely no judgement if you wobble, stumble or need a few extrablaps to find your feet.

Everyone starts somewhere ✌️
