💫 sorry we’ve been a little quiet on social media lately…

But we are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Woolas team… Iris

She has already got stuck into the role and assists James with the midweek viewings and is particularly fond of the twinkly lights around Woolas Barn!

Thanks so much to those of you who have helped us out and our lovely couples who have juggled their schedules for us!

Our Story

Originally built in 1863 and renovated in 2018, Woolas Barn is a unique rural wedding venue based on a family-run 400 acre farm, within 20 minutes drive from the historic city of York and 30 minutes from Leeds centre.

Blending rustic character with modern details, the venue is comprised of three seamlessly linked areas - the Courtyard, the Granary and The Lambing Shed.

The large outdoor courtyard has easterly views across to the Yorkshire Wolds and in the evening a beautiful night sky, perfect for enjoying toasting marshmallows on the firepits after the sun goes down.
