Catch A Fire is a reggae crew based in York, UK, with a strong focus on promoting conscious heavy bass reggae and sound system culture. The present crew consists of talented individuals including its Founders Daddy Harper and The Yorkman, Yenz, Jed I, MC Dandy, and MC Selector General TG. Together, they curate and deliver uplifting and danceable vinyl selections from various reggae genres such as

roots, dancehall, rub a dub, jungle, steppers, and dub, while emphasizing message music, truth, rights, love, and unity. Catch A Fire has had the privilege of performing at numerous festivals, captivating audiences with its infectious music. They proudly represented the UK at the Roots Yard during the 25th Anniversary of the Rototom Sunsplash in Spain, as well as at the esteemed Positive Vibrations Festivals in Liverpool. The crew has made notable appearances at renowned festivals and events including Rototom Sunsplash, Positive Vibration festivals, Beat-Herder festivals, Unity Day Fundraiser at Beaver Works Leeds, Positive Vibration Socials, Highest Point Festival, NGG Festivals, Dub HQ events, Eden Festival, and Reggae Thursday Manchester spreading their positive vibes and unique vinyl sets to diverse audiences. For six years, Catch A Fire held a residency at the Spread Eagle in York, hosting special guests, MCs, bands, and sound systems and charity events with the support of Countryman Hi-Fi and Hustle Tone sound systems. Currently, they perform monthly at the Lendal Cellars in York, delivering their energetic signature performances. Catch A Fire has crewed on Countryman Hi-Fi and Hustletone Valve Soundsystem. Also Guested at unity meetings by other sound systems such as Apache Hi-Fi, Bushrocker Hi-Fi, Irie Vibes, Tallulah, Rebel Radics, Greenman Hi-Fi, and Reaction Sound Systems. In addition to their captivating live performances, Catch A Fire's Daddy Harper and the Yorkman shares their music on various radio platforms through their live vinyl sets. They have been featured on Two Rivers Radio York, Positive Vibration Radio, Radio Rototom, Roots Train Radio, and other shows, leaving a lasting impression with their joyful selections.
