We’re just about ready to announce our bar tasting dates for our booked couples getting married next year!

Our bar tasting events are not only a great excuse for our couples to come back to the venue, but it’s also the perfect opportunity to try the wines, chat to Will our bar manager about all things bar and a sit down face to face with me (Kirsty, the Director of Weddings!) to chat through how your wedding planning is going.

The options in the ceremony barn are huge; pictured here is our heptagon that is available to hire, styled with some white chiffon, milk churns and boxes of stunning arrangements by Charlotte.

Top tip! Don’t forget to think about how you can use of all of this next door in the reception barn. This would look STUNNING behind and around the top table.

Lots of you will have already met Will, our fab Bar Manager here at Lodge Farm, but if you’re one of our booked couples and haven’t yet - our bar tasting evenings are the time to do it!

Will joined us last February and has a wealth of bar experience. He loves working weddings and helping our couples achieve their ultimate dream day.

We invite our couples to our bar tasting evenings throughout the January/February of the year they get married; they try the wines, chat through our bar packages, Mr and Mrs cocktails, anything they’d like on the bar and also have a chance to chat to Kirsty, our Director of Weddings, about all things wedding plans.

Your drinks reception sets the tone for your celebration; it’s the first time your guests get together and mingle with each other, and nothing brings people together like good food!

Top tip - make sure you ask your caterers to put some aside for you! The couple often end up taking photos for a large amount of the drinks reception and the last thing you want it to miss out of those stunning canapés! 😍
