We’ve just about got our breath back after last night! WHAT a wedding! Dom and Issy celebrated their beautiful wedding day at the incredible Pearly Cow, York and we had the honour of providing the soundtrack to the day!

First up, Dan kicked things off with music in the ceremony and the drinks reception before the full band took over in the evening, taking the party through until midnight! Thanks to Dom and Issy for trusting us with their wonderful wedding, we loved it, and a massive thanks to everyone for dancing all night! We’ve a weekend off now, and then we do it all over again next Friday!

Summer’s done! It’s been a fantastic few months for us as a band with loads of fabulous weddings, parties, and corporate events. We’ve had a great time playing for you all and we are only just getting started!

2027 sees our 10 year anniversary! We’ve never had a website, and we’ve only ever done one wedding fair which is crazy when we think back to how busy we’ve been!

We have relied since the beginning on word of mouth and people seeing us for themselves and getting in touch, and so far, touch wood it’s worked!
Having said all of that though, the landscape of the entertainment industry is changing and with it so are we! Keep an eye out over the next few months as we launch new offers to our wedding packages. The same personal service will never change though and we pride ourselves on this!

So here’s a massive THANK YOU to everyone who’s booked us in 2026, those who still have events and weddings to come this year, and those who have us booked for next year!

On Friday night we were delighted to play for Michelle’s 70th Birthday Party at North Cliff Golf Club in Scarborough! It was a wonderful evening and a full dance-floor throughout the party meant that the energy was awesome!

A massive thanks goes to Eddie, Michelle’s husband for booking us, we had an incredible evening!

We’ve now got a couple of weeks off before a VERY exciting charity event in Scarborough!

We love your correspondence after a gig, especially when it’s so lovely!

James, Stefan, and Evan played for Wolds Gliding Club over the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a blast, and it appears the party goers did too! Thanks for having us and it’s awesome you raised so much for such a worthy cause! ♥️

Thor’s York, you were an absolute pleasure! ❤️🎶

Always one of the highlights of our year coming back to play in the centre of York, even if the weather forecast seems determined to stress us out every single time 😂🌧️

We were supposed to play 3:30–5:30 with a break… instead we forgot about the break entirely, carried on playing, and somehow ended up doing an extra 45 minutes on top 😂

2 hours and 45 minutes non-stop, and honestly, an absolute pleasure from start to finish!

Thank you to everyone who came down, stuck around, threw requests at us, danced, sang along and generally made it such a brilliant afternoon. ❤️

And somehow our luck with the weather held out too… the rain started about 10 minutes after our last song! Couldn’t have timed it much better.

Huge thanks to Thor’s for having The Mixtapes back again this year and for continuing to support live music.

Keep an eye out for our next public date, hopefully we’ll see plenty of you again soon! 🎸🥁🎤

MIXTAPES FROM THE VAULTS!

Throwing it back to 2019, and we found ourselves down in the Cotswolds for what turned out to be a rather glitzy party! As the night drew in, the party moved inside and Dave was left to pack down the gear in the dark whilst Dan and James entertained the hoardes with a singalong around the Grand Piano in the house! A great night was had by all, even Dave who was kept refreshed by the rather excellent Gin Bar just behind where we were playing...

If you'd like us to come and play for you in an outdoor setting, please get in touch! That goes for indoor settings too!

We're back! It's been a hot minute since we were last on stage together, but James, Stefan, and Dave are looking forward to bringing the noise at Hackness Grange this evening for a fantastic wedding!

Then it's only a few days until we play again! This time we're in Leeds from 5:30pm on Thursday! Find us in THOR'S tipi opposite the Queens Hotel! It's always a fun one!

We follow this up with two weddings over next weekend, we make our first trip to The Walled Gardens in Helperby followed by another wedding back at Hackness Grange on the Sunday!

Remember, if you're looking for live music your event, whether that's a Wedding, Function, or Party, please get in touch. We've 15 years experience working in the industry, hundreds of satisfied clients, and knowledge of working the length and breadth of the UK and beyond!

We’ve two weekends off now! Normally unheard of in wedding season but we’re all busy doing other exciting musical things! Hope everyone’s having a great summer!
