**Celebrating 8 Years of outdoor activities at Yorkshire Activity Centre!**

Today marks a significant milestone for us at the Yorkshire Activity Centre—8 incredible years of growth, adventure, and unforgettable experiences! 🎉

When we first opened our doors at a small site in Askham Bryan, nestled within the nursery caravan park, we offered just a handful of activities: axe throwing, archery, and rifle shooting. Fast forward to today, and we are proud to have transformed into a full-fledged outdoor activity centre, complete with a clay target shooting facility!

Our journey began with a simple request to Nicola at the nursery caravan park for a bit of land to host our activities.

Thanks to her generosity, we were able to start our adventure. Just a year later, we quickly outgrew that space and were on the lookout for more room to expand. It was then that we received a call from Phil at the North of England Clay Target Centre, asking if we could assist with a corporate group. After a successful event, we seized the opportunity to operate from their fantastic location, and the rest is history!

Over the years, we’ve added even more exciting activities to our roster, including crossbow shooting and quad biking. Now, after 6 years at our current location, we are thrilled to announce that we have an established activity centre and shooting ground , with big plans already in motion for next year!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Nicola, Phil, and Judith for believing in us and providing the opportunities that have allowed us to grow.

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff, who have supported us every step of the way, and to our wonderful customers who have booked with us over the years.

The journey doesn’t stop here! We have so much more in store for the future, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. Here’s to many more years of adventure and excitement at the Yorkshire Activity Centre! 🥳

Yesterday corporate day commenced on a high note, with a warm welcome featuring delicious bacon sandwiches and hot drinks, perfectly setting the stage for an action-packed agenda.

The morning session quickly shifted into an adrenaline-pumping experience, as participants engaged in exhilarating quad biking, precise archery, and the uniquely satisfying challenge of axe throwing.

This blend of speed, skill, and primal fun fostered early camaraderie and sparked friendly competition. A well-deserved break followed, with our corporate buffet lunch providing a delicious opportunity to refuel and share morning highlights.

The afternoon proved equally engaging, focusing on marksmanship with intense rifle shooting and challenging crossbow target practice, culminating in the thrilling and always popular clay pigeon shooting. Throughout the entire day, the air buzzed with laughter, good-natured banter, and an undeniable spirit of competitive enjoyment, making for a truly memorable corporate event.

This particular group's sustained satisfaction is evident, as they have been valued clients for the past seven years, and we are delighted to confirm they have already rebooked their annual event for next year, a testament to the consistently exceptional experience we provide.

Wow, what an absolutely incredible month July was for us!

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a fantastic variety of different groups, from corporate team-building events and lively stag and hen parties, to memorable birthday celebrations, and plenty of families and couples.

In addition to our normal shooting competitions, we also had the honour of hosting two police clay shooting competitions and army competitions, truly adding to the excitement. Indeed, July proved to be unequivocally our busiest month to date, and we simply couldn't have done it without you.

To all who booked with us, a huge thank you for making it such a success! We genuinely hope you enjoyed your time and look forward to welcoming you back for even more exciting activities in the future.

It was an absolute pleasure to host the British Army Clay Shooting Team this week at our facility.

Their visit brought a remarkable blend of seasoned professionalism and exceptional marksmanship to our grounds, creating an inspiring atmosphere for all involved.

The team's disciplined approach, coupled with their evident passion for the sport, made for a truly engaging experience our staff Witnessing their precision and skill first-hand was a highlight, and their friendly demeanor and willingness to share insights only added to the enjoyment.

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to welcome such a distinguished group and look forward to the possibility of hosting them again in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing day today, centered around our highly anticipated Police Shooting Competition!

It was fantastic to see so many of you join us for a day of skill, friendly rivalry, and camaraderie on the range.
