Our final Bedern Sessions is coming up and we're ending on a high note with performing all evening. Holly is one of those ‘hidden gem’ singer-songwriters from York, UK. All for the love of the song, Holly’s music weaves heartfelt melodies and introspective lyrics that will leave you wanting more.

Our Bedern Sessions events are relaxed acoustic music evenings set in our beautiful medieval hall where you can unwind at the end of the week. Best of all it is completely free to attend and no need to purchase a ticket! Drop in at any time during the evening and stay as long or as short as you like.

Note: we will not sell out of tickets (even if Eventbrite says we have sold out).

Drinks and delicious bites will be available to buy at Bedern Hall during the evening.

🐿 Bedern Bairns 🐿

Bedern Bairns is still on every Wednesday at Bedern Hall from 10:30am - 1pm. Drop in at any time to enjoy a relaxed space for your little ones to play while you can chat over a hot drink and a cake.

We are requesting that parents book ahead on our jotform so that we have a better idea of numbers. There will be an on-the-door charge of £6.50 which includes a hot drink and cake as part of the entry.

I visited Bedern Hall today with Ripley before my show there later this month and my goodness, what a treat! 🎶

The place is nothing short of MAGICAL ✨

(Oh and the acoustics are 👌)

This is my first proper show at Bedern Hall and you would be so welcome to join us ⭐

T1ckets are actually FREE (but it's advised that you book them anyway so we have an idea of numbers).

I'll be playing a cool mix of original music, well known tunes and Eva Cassidy songs too 💜

The Bedern Sessions - Your weekend wind-down starts here! The perfect after-shifter! Door 5.30pm, Music 6pm. Close 8.30pm

The Bertie Set is a folk fusion collective which draws on the best world music as well as our own original compositions to create a set of outstanding beauty. Regular members of the group use guitar, fiddle, drums and percussion, mandola, accordion and melodica. And of course the haunting bluesy voice of Bertie herself.

From Past to Present at Bedern Hall
Did you know Bedern Hall had its own orchard?

A few years ago we honoured that history with the planting of an ancient Yorkshire apple variety in our courtyard — a living link to the Hall’s roots and the seasonal life of the Vicars Choral who once lived here.

Come and see heritage growing at Bedern — where stories blossom alongside the apples.

The Hall and Cafe are open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.30am to 3.30pm
