The Company Master, Shaun and his consort Jane were thrilled to welcoming over 300 guests to Merchant Taylors’ Hall for this week.

Among them were some familiar faces — couples who have tied the knot at the Hall over the years, including. Alison & Nigel who married in 1998! And Rebecca & Michael who said “I do” just last year.

The day ended on a high note with a stunning East Asian music concert to celebrate Lunar New Year — the young performers absolutely shone!

We’re delighted to be taking part in York Residents’ Weekend on Sunday 1 February, and will be opening our doors from 10am to 3pm for local residents to explore our historic hall.
