Despite the sleet and snow this morning a bunch of fellow flower farmers gathered to spend a magical day strolling through the walled garden of Raby Castle. You can guess what we talked about! So good to catch up with other colleagues and friends. Such a fantastic supportive network. We've all been beavering away in pur own plots all season, so the chance to get together was very welcome. Thank you to the amazing team at Raby for hosting us and miraculously producing lunch, despite a power cut that lasted the majority of the day. Thanks also to Flowers from the Farm North East especially Andrea Clarke and Debs for organizing and getting us all together.

I'm so excited for our Christmas Wreath Workshops on 22 & 30 November - it's going to be such a lovely start to the festive season, with great company, a few tunes and lots of fabulous foliage.

If you'd like to join us, please can I ask that you book your spot in the next 2 days! It's a bonkers time of year, and foliage and decorations need to be ordered early to make sure of supply. After Wednesday, bookings will close - and if there is not enough folks booked, then very sadly, I will have to cancel.

What a wonderful time we had this morning. A huge thank you to everyone who came by, it was an absolute blast. A perfect Sunday morning, basking in the sunshine picking flowers and chatting over coffee. Lots of waggy tails too. Thank you to Jen .coffee.bike for treating us to your delicious coffee.

Enjoy an easy Sunday morning. Jen will be here with The Coffee Bike. Pick your own bunch and settle in for a coffee and chat. The dahlias have enjoyed the sunshine this week and look forward to seeing you!
The ground around the flower beds can cope with wheels and sticks, and we can park cars close to the beds if needed. Waggy tails welcome!

One hour private slots available. Come and fill a bucket with gorgeousness. Just you and the flowers. These Mexican beauties have really hit their socks filling the beds with all their extravagant colour and form.

A beautiful summer wedding. Flowers grown here in Yorkshire apart from a few special roses. August is a super month for using British flowers if you're looking to create a relaxed country wedding.
All finished off with a little celebration in the local pub raising a glass to a plan that came together on the day!

Sorry folks but the growing conditions this year, with the extreme dry, has meant our usual abundance of sweet peas, has been somewhat diminished. So with heavy heart we have needed to cancel the open day we planned for Sunday. Fingers crossed they will be back next year with their usual vigour and we will see you then.
