We’re delighted to welcome Made in Yorkshire for another year as they transform The Guildhall into a cosy indoor Christmas market.

Discover local retailers, handmade and homemade gifts, and plenty of festive charm. If you’re looking to escape the cold and find something bespoke and unique for your loved ones, pop in and explore the village!

Last Saturday, we had the absolute honour of hosting a truly unforgettable and long anticipated celebration - the wedding of Bethan and Chris, the official winners of our 'Win Your Wedding' competition.🎉

Thanks to a fully gifted package worth over £7,000, York Conferences and Events (who proudly manage weddings and events at The Guildhall) collaborated with a host of talented local suppliers to bring the couple’s dream day to life. From the very beginning, it was clear this was going to be something extraordinary. ✨

The historic walls of The Guildhall echoed with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and joyful tears as loved ones gathered to celebrate the newlyweds. It was a day filled with emotion, magic, and memories that will last a lifetime - and we are incredibly proud to have played a part in it. 💕

Our award-winning in-house catering team served an exquisite three-course meal followed by a delicious evening buffet, ensuring every detail was as exceptional as the couple themselves.
