Hey ladies & gents 😊

I wanted to post this on here as I know alot of you know me personally whether as friends, family or through alterations and I want to offer this to as many people as possible so here goes!

Recently I came accross Korean Skincare and I just can’t get enough of it!

Now I know a lot of you are already married, past clients ect, but this is not just for brides, this is literally for anyone who wants to take care of themselves 💝

If you’ve got skin - then it can benefit you - and I’m pretty sure you all have that 🙈🤣

So I fell in love with this stuff before it transformed my skin, and then even more the very first day that I tried it! 4 weeks in and my skin never felt so good! I literally can not go a morning or night without putting it on my face!

It’s too good not to share so I’m holding weekly events 1 day a week so that you can come and see what all the fuss is about, try the products, ask any questions and get on the road to healthy, glowy, plumper, radiant skin - if that’s what you decide to do!

So grab a ticket, come have a nosey at the new boutique and let’s catchup in KBeauty heaven.

To book that appointment!

With the right approach, technique and a whole load of patience - alomost anything is possible 🙌

Have you been meaning to book your bridal alterations appointment?

Remember to book early to be best prepared as specialist bridal seamstresses tend to book up super early! Like a whole year in advance, sometimes even earlier.

Ideally, when you say yes to your dress you want to be thinking about booking in for your first fitting appointment asap.

As long as you know your wedding date and a rough date for your dress arriving then you can get your date and seamstress secured.

I offer initial appointments for first fittings 8-12 weeks pre wedding date.

8 weeks for for standard alts -

➡️ Shorten hems, take in sideseams, lift straps, add bustle/cups ect.

For more extensive work 12 weeks -

➡️ Add corset, make & add sleeves, if a dress needs making bigger, by adding side panels, resizing, anything the requires sourcing fabric.

Sometimes, it may be better to come in early to discuss any concerns and plan ahead what work is needed. If you’re feeling anxious about your dress and need peace of mind and professional advice or work needed is extensive then it may be a good idea to book a consultation appointment.
A fee is charged for this service, some of which is redeemable against your final alterations bill.

I currently am taking appointments amd my diary is open after being mostly closed off for a while since having a baby 👶 so if you are a last minute sally then dom't worry 😅 I can help 🙌

As I am also new to the area and looking to build up local reputation I am offering the first 10 brides who book in with me from today Free appointments so no booking fee required upon booking.

Having a moment for the memories 😍

From the simple strap lifts to the whole remakes.
From to fitted silhouettes to the Princess gowns.
From the tears and fear to the laughs and joys.
From my own very first KF Alterations Bride to number how many hundreds later?

When I fell pregant with my little Heidi I had to take a step back from sewing, and I have been sooooo quite on here while building up the new bridal boutique in York, but recently I have been back behind the machine and it’s like falling in love all over again.

I will never get tired of being a part of that moment.

The moment the worry turns to relief.

The moment the face full of fear lights up.
the way you whole vibe changes when you step into your dress the final time before your wedding day and it fits like a glove, like it was made for you.

That moment means more to me than you’ll ever know.

To be a part of such a crucial part of your dress journey is so special.

And I’m so grateful to be chosen and trusted to be that person.

To you I’m just a seamstress. A last thought because who knew you’d need alterations or how important they are. But to me that moment is pride, achievement, fulfilment, perfection, love.

Alterations are a work of art. And now it’s time for me to take my art & creation to another level. Exciting things are coming this way - watch this space 💃

Do we have any new businesses that would like to come together and offer their service at a discount or for free as a prize in our raffle?

If you are a fairly new business it can be hard to stand out from the crowd and gain visibility especially within the wedding industry and I would love the to take our opening event in February as an opportunity to support other local wedding suppliers gain more business and exposure by involving you in our event.

If you think this is something that you would like to hear more about and would love the chance to be involved then I would love to hear from you.

It doesn’t have to be wedding related either just relevant to our brides & their families. We already have a few amazing local businesses onboard but I would love to make this this bigger and support more people in business.
