Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary! 1️⃣🎉

Lauren and James celebrated their wonderful wedding last year at the beautiful Hospitium in York Museum Gardens 💞

I was honoured to conduct their fully personalised ceremony that included their love story, a special reading written by Lauren’s sister, personal vows, and we ended the ceremony with a big cheers and a shot! 🥃

I stayed for the day as Master of Ceremonies, helping with the flow of the day, making key announcements, looking after the happy couple and their guests and ensuring they all felt like VIP’s for the day ✨

I hope your first year as newlyweds has been amazing 🫶🏻

We first met virtually and then met up for a coffee in York closer to our wedding. From the very beginning Melody made the whole process feel personal, relaxed and was completely tailored to us.

The life story Melody put together for us was absolutely incredible. She captured our journey and it made our ceremony feel unique and full of emotion. All of our guests commented on how special the ceremony was.

Melody also gave us lots of options and ideas to help us create a ceremony that was truly different and reflected who we are as a couple. We included things we would never have dreamed of - and we were pleased we did!

Fun times 💃🏽🪊🥁🕺🏻

I don’t often post what I’m up to in my personal life because frankly, I’m not sure how interested anyone would be!

However on Friday night, my personal life and professional life collided when I bumped into one of my lovely couples at a local gig! Lauren and Truzaar are Hyde Family Jam super fans so I had a feeling they might be and I was so happy to bump into them 😊

I’ll be conducting their wedding celebrant creating a personalised ceremony for them, and staying with them as Master of Ceremonies in May 2027. I couldn’t be more excited they’ve booked the amazing for their evening reception 💃🏽🕺🏻

I’m so lucky to live and work in York, a city full of so many talented and creative people, especially in the wedding industry. From celebrants writing memorable ceremonies from scratch, to florists and stylists dressing venues beautifully, or photographers capturing the magic of your day, to amazing musicians like and who get the party started, or stationers, cake makers, caterers, the list goes on… Every single wedding supplier I know loves what they do, puts their heart and soul into your day and cares deeply about doing the best job possible. That’s why I love this magical industry where dreams come true 🩷🩷🩷

Robyn and Aidan didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits on their wedding day last July. Luckily Barlow Woodseats Hall has a beautiful, historic, indoor rustic barn that is absolutely gorgeous, with so many twinkling lights to set the romantic scene ✨✨✨

Today, I worked the last day in my role as Wedding & Events Supervisor so I can fully focus on this wonderful dream job of mine! ✨
