Pie Season!

As the cooler weather approaches, from the end of September, I will be making pie and pastry offerings, with a weekly changing menu.. including large pies, pasties, quiches and giant sausage roll slices (pictured) all made with our famous pastry.

Another great week at the wonderful Castle Cary market!
We sold out in record time - apologies for any disappointment, for those that arrived later on.
We are hoping to up the quantities of pies and pasties over the coming weeks, so there will be more availability.

I have been asked the question by a few people visiting the market stall; yes! All pies completely made by hand, no machines or mixers.. just the old fashioned way using a bowl, a knife and hands. No shortcuts, pies made with love (and hard work).

I will be selling various flavours of handmade pies every week at the Castle Cary Tuesday market. Starting this coming week.

An amazing charity, with very cool cafe space, scrap store and children’s play area.
New menu launching in June using fresh local produce and suppliers, vegetarian and vegan options (awesome vegan cakes).. and Yes; homemade pies!

Nestled in our new premises at Buckland Road, the Hub Cafe is a hybrid space combining a family friendly cafe, the creative buzz of the Scrapstore and an accessible kids play area. Join us for breakfasts or brunch, lunch or use our takeaway service.

I’m very happy to announce that I am now working full time with the wonderful charity The Hub, in Yeovil.

The new Hub Cafe menu is being developed and JK pies will be available asap, both eat in and takeaway. Open six days a week.
