🌧️🌬️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – TRAGO MILLS LISKEARD THIS SATURDAY

Hi everyone ❤️

Following a meeting with Health & Safety at Trago Mills, we have sadly made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s market.

The latest forecasts are showing wind gusts of up to 31mph and heavy rain. As the market is held on a tarmac car park with no fixed anchor points for gazebos, we cannot safely go ahead in these conditions.

There is also an important insurance issue: our insurance does not cover gazebo-related incidents where wind speeds exceed 25mph. With forecasts reaching 31mph, we simply cannot take the risk.

We know this is disappointing, and cancelling is never a decision we make lightly. But safety must always come first. ❤️

✨ Transfer your payment to the September Trago Mills Market & Dog Show – we’ll accommodate as many transfers as possible, subject to availability.

✨ Request a full refund – these will be processed within the next few days.

An email with the details will also be sent to everyone booked for Saturday.

🌬️ Weather Update – Trago Mills Liskeard

We’re currently keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast for this weekend’s market at Trago Mills Liskeard.

At the moment, we are concerned that wind gusts could potentially exceed 25mph. As our market is held on a tarmac car park, there are unfortunately no ground anchor points available for us to secure gazebos to.

As always, safety has to come first — for our stallholders, our visitors and our team. ❤️

The weather can change quite significantly from one forecast update to the next, so we are not making any decisions just yet.

I’ll be checking everything again first thing in the morning and will provide another update once we have the latest forecast.

🤞 Fingers crossed the wind decides to calm down a little!

A big hello to all our wonderful stallholders attending this Saturdays ispy Trago Mills Liskeard Market the 29th August( where has this year gone)
Just a few reminders for Saturday:
We have sent you three forms if you are a new trader to us we will need all three returned to us before this market. We will need copies of PLI and food hygiene food vendors obviously.

🕣 Set-up starts at 8:30am – please don’t arrive before then, as we’ll still be getting everything ready for you.
You will be greeted and told where to set up on arrival.
Please remember to bring your weights the heavier the better. Don’t forget your gazebo sides, just incase!
🛍️ Trading hours are 10:00am–3:00pm.

☀️ The weather is looking lovely at the moment, but as always, it’s best to come prepared for anything! so please remember to bring sunscreen, wellies, sun hats and raincoat and take care of yourselves throughout the day!! 🤔🥱
If you’re bringing products that don’t enjoy the heat or the rain please make any adjustments needed to keep them cool or protected. As you are probably aware the weather plays by its own rules atm.
Please remember you are responsible for your own setup and stock, Ispy will not take any responsibility for any ruined stock due to adverse weather.

We don’t cancel if it rains!

🚗 You can park alongside the set-up area while unloading, but please be mindful not to block the back road along the river, as buses need access throughout the day.

Once you’re all set up, we’d be grateful if you could move your vehicle further down the car park to help keep the area clear for everyone. If you have a disability or need accessible parking, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

To all stallholders attending Trago — if your payment link has not been paid by the end of today, you will be removed from the market.

We’ve been far too patient with slow payments, and we now need to make it fair for everyone and allow ourselves time to re-advertise any available spaces. ❤️

If you haven’t received your payment link, please let us know ASAP and we’ll get this sorted for you. 😊

We’ll also be advertising the market from today, so any unpaid spaces may be offered to new stallholders.
