Why reviews matter.... ✨️

I'm so thankful for all customers who take time to leave a review. I know it can be a bit of a faff but it only takes a couple of mins and it really makes a difference to future customers who are thinking of making an appointment.

For example, I had a lovely bride last week who booked her appointment after reading customers reviews saying how comfortable they were made to feel during their visit. That is what it's all about and that is why reviews mean so much 🙌

Veils are a talking point and can really finish off a bridal look and whether you chose to wear a veil on your wedding day or not is a personal preference.

Before you decide, please don't just try one and decide yes or no right away as there are so many styles to chose from 🤍

We have lots of choice in store from short and simple to full on statement pieces and during your appointment we can try some that compliment your dress to either find the perfect one of help you decide if a veil isn't the right choice for you.

Beautiful appointment with lovely bride to be Samantha and her Maid of honour today. We were expecting this appointment to be emotional and although it was, it had an amazing end with Samantha saying yes to a stunning gown that her mum would be so so proud of.

It was emotional but oh so very happy, thank you for letting me be a part of you moment ✨️

Allow me to reintroduce myself 💕

I thought it was about time I said a proper hello to all the new faces here. I’m the owner of Glamorous Gowns, usually the one behind the scenes, but also the one who’ll be there with you when you come in to try on dresses.

I created this boutique to feel relaxed, friendly, and easy. Dress shopping can feel a bit overwhelming, so I’ve always wanted this to be somewhere you can take your time, have a chat, and just be yourself.

I've found that many brides can feel quite anxious about bridal shopping and making sure you feel comfortable and supported is everything to me. No pressure, no rush, just a space where you can figure out what you love and feel really good doing it.

It was such a pleasure to help Victoria chose her beautiful wedding dress in time for her September wedding.
Thanks to some feedback from her mum and friend and after trying several styles, Victoria came back to a dress that not only looked amazing but she felt comfortable in and didn't want to take off! 🥰

Aurora has a soft printed, floral paint design that really stands out against the sand colour underlayer. Beautifully designed for the bride who would like a clean silhouette but not too simplistic 🤍
