A very special weekend for Rob and Paul this weekend, they did the Lancaster Runway Experience in Lincolnshire, we stayed at The Petwood Hotel, where the Dambusters squadron stayed whilst awaiting duties, a lovely hotel with so much history, we had dinner at The Bluebell Inn, where the pilots would drink before going on duty, they would leave a penny in the beams of the pub for them to buy a drink when they returned from duty, sadly many never did return and the pennies are still there to this day ❤️
