Saturday 4th July 2026 is a date for your diary when we host our annual summer event on The Green at Wren Hall.

This year we are fortunate to have Donald McCombie and his band to lead us in a ceilidh.

Gates open at 7.30pm - dancing from 8.00pm

The Wren Hall bar will be open for beer, wine and soft drinks.

As part of the wide range of activities that are put on at Wren Hall, Jo Boland offers a variety of classes that include Mat Pilates, Chair Pilates and Body Balance.

Jo started out as a fitness instructor more than 25 years ago and brings a wealth of professional and deeply personal experience to her classes that can help those that wish to adopt a healthier approach to their lifestyle.

The first class with Jo is offered for FREE - after that you can choose a "pay as you go" approach or a monthly payment to cover all your classes.

For Jo it's about taking classes that are safe, effective, always varied and most importantly, FUN, because let's face it, life's too short for boring exercise!

We have a number of regular teachers and coaches who host sessions at Wren Hall - you can particpate in zumba, pilates and yoga to name but a few.

If you are keen to expand your horizons after the recent Easter break, why not join Puala Savery at her Iyengar Yoga class at Wren Hall ?

Paula is a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher with over 20 years experience.

Class is on Thursday evenings 6.30-8pm, £15. New term starts 23.4.26.

A great turnout for the Wren Hall Quiz Night tonight and our congratulations to “Oak Tree” who became our 2026 champions and who will get their name on our trophy.

Many thanks to Richard and Nigel for putting on a great quiz and to all the volunteers who helped set up, serve, mark and tidy up. Shout out to Denise, Julie, Karen and Colin in particular 💪🙏.

Another great community event at a great venue with great people.
