Hi everyone,
We’re really sad to share that our Wrexham bridal shop will be closing over the next few months.
We have tried so hard to make the shop a success, and we’re incredibly proud of what it has achieved. Sadly, high street retail is facing huge challenges, and with rising costs, staffing pressures, utilities, and the Welsh Government scrapping the retail business rates relief we previously received, we simply couldn’t take the risk of signing a new lease with such an uncertain future.
The shop has done really well online, which shows just how much the way people shop is changing. By continuing online, we can keep raising vital funds for the animals without the heavy costs of running a high street shop.
The shop will be closed for the first week of June due to lack of staff cover, and will reopen on 10th June. From then until closing, we’ll be open on Wednesdays and Fridays only.
Wednesdays
2:30-5:00pm
Fridays
9:00am-5:00pm
All stock will be on sale, and it will be walk-in only, we won’t be able to offer appointments during this time. We’ll confirm our final open day as soon as we have it.
For now, we’re unable to accept any donations at this shop while we make arrangements for what happens after closure and focus on selling as much current stock as possible.
Our Whatnot shows will continue, and our existing donated dresses will still be hugely helpful in raising funds for our animals, they may just be sold online rather than face to face.
We also want to say a huge thank you to our brilliant shop manager, Nikki, who is moving on to pastures new at the end of this month. Nikki has been an absolute asset to the shop and truly understood what we were trying to achieve. We know she has helped so many brides find their perfect dress over the last year, and we’re so grateful for everything she has done.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the shop. We’re so sorry we couldn’t continue it in person, but we’re determined to keep adapting and keep raising funds for the animals however we can. 💔
