We love this time of year! It’s busy but so rewarding. Half way through lambing now, the dahlias are just starting to wake up, the greenhouse and polytunnel are packed full of baby plants and a handful of ranunculus are starting to bloom

Something a little different from last week… a lovely client commissioned a special bouquet for someone who loves dahlias. I love dahlias too (incase you hadn’t noticed 🤣) so I thoroughly enjoyed creating this

Mr MG is a very tolerant man. He came home one day a few years ago to find I’d dug up our front lawn to create a dahlia bed “that’s nice dear” with a slightly panicked expression was his response. Best thing I’ve done on the site as it’s the most sheltered part of the farm, and these beauties get TALL!! From mid summer to the first frosts it looks glorious (I’ll admit for the rest of the year it looks a little odd 🤣)
