I am proud to be President / Trustee of SSW Worthing, and we are excited to share with you that we will be holding the charity’s first ever
One Night in Vegas event at the Charmandean Centre, Worthing on 11th September, which includes a red-carpet entrance, professional photographs, welcome drink, roulette table. Magician, 3 course dinner, followed by live performances from Tom Jones, Shania Twain and ELVIS PRESLEY tribute acts for up to 200 guests. One Night in Vegas: get ready for a night of fun and excitement while supporting Sight Support Worthing the towns oldest charity.

Sight Support Worthing established in 1910 is personal to me as I was born with Sight Loss fortunately corrected by an operation and managed by glasses and my own Grandfather was blinded in 1920 during the troubles in Ireland.

At SSW we strive to empower individuals, from children to the elderly living with vision loss and visual impairment, promoting wellbeing, and reducing isolation.

On average 250 people begin to lose their sight every day in the UK. Services are free and include counselling sessions, technical support, benefits and advocacy support, social events, and a daily driver and guide service for appointments.
We also run Sussex Spitfires from our centre.

We also provide CPD accredited interactive workshops, which challenge perspectives of sight loss and enable any group or company to offer appropriate assistance with confidence.
