💥Important notice💥

Unfortunately our highly recommended seamstress Chrissie has had an overwhelming amount of brides wanting to book her and has had to cut back on the amount of work she takes on. She has decided to not take on anymore work for now until she catches up.

This will mean that you will need to find your own seamstress to do any alterations you may need. We do not have anyone else we recommend as have only ever used Chrissie but she is not employed by us, so we are not held responsible for not supplying a seamstress or anyone you may now use.

All brides that are already booked in with Chrissie, she will still honour your alterations.

This wasn’t your typical Wedding Story… Back in 2024, these two entered and WON! the ‘Win a Wedding’ competition with . As part of their prize they claimed some incredible packages and extras from a team of talented local wedding suppliers.

At our private bridal boutique, we dont sell off peg old samples, pre owned or mass produced standard size dresses that dont fit you properly. We offer a luxury service where all of our dresses are made brand new to your unique size, proportions and length at the time of the order.

99% of our brides walk away with their dress fitting them perfectly and no alterations are needed. The 1% have changed in size therefore needing alterations.

There are all types of bridal shops offering different services and prices and we are all amazing ❤ but we wanted to tell you how we work at Carolyn Anne's Bridal and what costs are involved when you say "Yes to the dress"

First of all with us, you are not just choosing a discounted off peg, pre owned wedding dress to take home with you. And you are not having a standard size designer dress already made that everyone has seen before.

With us, all of the designs you see in our boutique are exclusive to us, designed by us and fully customisable by you. Every single dress is made brand new, to your unique proportions including length at the time of the order and customised if required.

When we price each of our dresses, we have to think about the costs invloved...

1. Our dressmakers fee to make the dress (This takes between 3-6 months) including cutting your dress to the exact size you are at the time of the order, dying the material and hours of handsewing lace appliques and beadings.

2. Wedding dress fabric is not cheap and on top of your fabric, spakle beads/pearls and sequinns also need to be purchased.

3. On top of paying our dressmaker we have fees to pay including a paypal fee, the freight fee, the courier fee, the plus size fee (although we never charge you extra for being plus size) and the customisation fee.

4. Once your dress arrives, we spend up to 1-2 hours steaming your dress/dresses to make them prisitine for when you see them, which most brides do not think about.

5 Before your appointment we go out and buy Prosecco to give every one of our brides who purchase their dress, leave Biscuits, Juice and Chocolates on the table for you to enjoy whilst you and your bridal party throughout your appoitment.

6. Our bridal boutique is always warm and well lit which uses gas and electric.

7. Last of all, we do not get wedding dress samples for free. All of our samples we have paid our dressmaker to personally make to how we requested it and we have a large range of styles in sensible sizing which we had to pay for just so our brides have a good selection. Most of our dresses are plus sizes so cost us extra to make.
