Yesterday I dressed the casket for the Dad of one of my dear friends.
The family wanted something bright, including yellow roses, and her Dads favourite sunflowers. It's always a privilege to go into a funeral director early H D Tribe Ltd and dress a casket.
I couldn't attend both services on the same day, but husband Worthing Celebrant Dave Adams held the celebration of life service yesterday for my friends Dad. Thinking of the family ❤️

I’ve been a little quiet with flowers lately while focusing on family care, but yesterday was a special (and very busy!) return to it 💐
I was truly honoured to be asked by two separate families to create my signature floral toppers on the very same day. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do so much — thank you for trusting me to be part of something so meaningful 🤍

First was a red and white topper, created for my very first boss , when I was just 16. I had two previous Saturday or weekend jobs prior, but this was during my full time role and 13 years at Excess/London & Edinburgh Insurance where Derek Richardson took me under his wing.

I attended his funeral yesterday and it was lovely to see ex work colleagues from over 30 years ago, and also to hear Dereks life story. A very kind man who lived a full life. I hope I did him proud Barbara Richardson ❤️
