I have had conversations this week with a couple of dog owners that didn’t know it’s the LAW to have a license from your local authority to board dogs in your home.

All listed boarders in this group hold a boarding license.

Helpful tips when looking for lodgings for your dog:

Make sure the business displays their licensed number on their social media pages/website ✅

It is required that the business also displays their certificate on their premises ✅

Overnight trial session ✅

Ask for references ✅

All licensed dog boarders are listed on your local authority’s website ✅

If anything happens to your dog in their care IF they don’t have a license then no insurance will pay out.

For any insurance company to sell boarding-day care insurance they need a license number.
