SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

It gives us great pleasure to announce our first confirmed guest for WEIRD WORCESTER 2: The one and only VERNON WELLS!

Any self respecting cult / action movie fan will know VERNON WELLS as one of the most iconic movie villains of several bonafide classic films of our times, from his iconic debut turn as Wez in MAD MAX 2: THE ROAD WARRIOR, the career defining BENNETT in COMMANDO through to his many collaborations with Stuart Gordon. Vernon loves to meet his fans and cannot wait to come to Worcester!

We hope you will all join us in July 2026 at Weird Worcester 2 where we will help Mr. Wells 'let off some steam'!

Our friends at Abertoir Horror Festival will be kicking off their fantastic festival in a week's time!

There’s just ONE WEEK TO GO ‘til Abertoir 2025! Time for a roll-call – who’s joining us for 5 days? Or perhaps 1 or 2? Or a handful of films? Let us know below!

In a week’s time we’ll be kicking things off with an opening reception at 4pm before opening with The Bride of Frankenstein in all her glory.

In town early? Abertoir passholders can get 50% off tickets to see Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein at the Arts Centre on Monday 10th or Tuesday 11th – offer available at the box office only!

We’re really looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting some of you for the very first time. Not long now!
