With great sadness we can report that Jez Cole passed away on Sunday 22nd November, Cymone and Casper were with him. He owned and ran WSRP from April 2009 to March 2020 - the longest reign of the rock school leaders! Here are a few of my favourite pics of him from my pre 2009 archive. BBC Music Introducing in Hereford & Worcester will be broadcasting tributes to him from 6pm this evening (28th Nov) so please listen in - they will be discussing the various music projects he was involved with as well as WSRP. If you have any nice photos or memories of him please do send them along so we can pass them on. RIP Jez.

Today would have seen the relaunch and open day of Worcester Rock School but, as stated on our website, we are unable to do that today due to covid restrictions at our venue. We are working hard to get Worcester Rock School up and running as soon as possible. Hello followers of WSRP! Brian Hoggard here from Dragon Music. Just to let you know that Jez has passed the rock school baton back to me and when the new term starts on Saturday 26th September it will be known as Worcester Rock School. It will be a part of Dragon Music and all posts about it will be found over on that page. More info about the re-launch coming soon!...

Ok a message for ex WSRP students, current WSRP students and anyone interested in joining the renamed Worcester Rock School in the Autumn.
Preparations are underway to sort out dates and times. Budding rockstars age 8 to 18 are all welcome to join.

It's a long way off as clearly music groups and schools arent open yet. Once they are Dragon Music's, Worcester Rock School, https://www.dragonmusic.org/worcester-rock-school.html
will be ready to support you and start you on your rock and roll journey. We will still be about as a resource to help encourage people to find music groups suited to them, run by qualified and experienced tutors as we always have. A new approach just as we are no longer running things on the ground in the future.
