I am absolutely over the moon to have been nominated in the Funeral Celebrant/Officiant of the Year category of the Good Funeral Awards 2026!
This is my third year of working as an Independent Celebrant (I received my NOCN Level Three Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy in June 2023 after training with Civil Ceremonies Ltd) and this is the second year that I've had the privilege of being nominated for the Good Funeral Awards.
I can honestly say that helping bereaved people on their journey through grief by providing them with an amazing funeral experience is one of the most fulfilling things that I have done. When I became a Celebrant, I wasn't expecting, "you were amazing" to be one of the most common pieces of feedback that I would receive. It is an absolute honour to walk with people at one of the most difficult times of their life and it is so fulfilling to have families that I've worked with speak of the warmth, empathy and compassion that they experience through working with me.
I do have a small favour to ask: the judging panel will shortly go through the list of nominees to select the finalists. If I've worked with you, or you have seen me in my role as a Celebrant and you have a moment to vote for me, I would be incredibly grateful.
