Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon Active Sports Events are a small, family-run events business operating in the South West.

The team have over 10 years experience delivering a range of multi-sport events and are now launching a brand new range of events in 2022. We, like you, love sport and understand that great events are where everyone can achieve their goal however big or small.

Our events aim to offer a friendly and inclusive atmosphere in a range of beautiful locations as well as offering a great platform of ra

cing for those looking to compete at the highest level. The 2022 season will see us deliver 5 events across sprint triathlons and the popular Cotswold Big Swim festivals. We pledge to continue our support of local charities as well as offering races where everyone can achieve their goals.

Today we were thrilled to be able to present Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity with a cheque for an amazing £6,406.50, raised from the 2025 Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon!

Thank you to everyone involved in the event who made this possible - our fabulous sponsors, all the participants, and the organising team and volunteers from Royal Wootton Bassett Hounds RC.

We're ready for you!
First wave starts at 8am Sunday morning, with cyclists returning up the High Street from around 8.55am, and the first finishers on RWBA field from 9.20am. The last finisher will be around 12.30pm.

Spectators are very welcome, at Lime Kiln, on the school field, and around the Jubilee Lake area. Please give all the athletes a cheer and a wave when you see them!

All profits from Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon are donated to our chosen charity, which is Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity. Last year we donated over £3,300, and the event has donated around £25,000 since its inception.

We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for helping to cover the costs of putting this event on. Without them, we wouldn't be able to donate such a great amount.

Our Story

The Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon is back for it's 7th year on Sunday 10th May 2020.

Race Start Wave starts 8am.

​Race Distance Triathlon: 400m Pool swim, 20k bike, 5k run (Flat and Fast)

We have already got some fantastic support due to the events success over the last couple of years. The event has donated over £5000 to local charities to date and looks to add to this in year 5 alongside providing the best triathlon experience for each individual who enters.
