You may have seen the signs on Coped Hall roundabout regarding road closures.

Following discussions and escalating a response from , the following points have been outlined to Ballards Ash and the Sports Association.

This is their closure plan:
•⁠ ⁠Saturday 7th June - Night working (7pm - 6am)
•⁠ ⁠Sunday 8th June - Night working on the roundabout (7pm - 6am)
•⁠ ⁠Monday 9th to Thursday 12th June - Working on Swindon Road (19:00 – 06:00)
•⁠ Friday 13th June from 19:00 to Monday 16th June 6am - Total closure while working on the roundabout
•⁠ ⁠Monday 16th June - Reinstalling road markings on both phases (19:00 – 06:00)

While works take place on Swindon Road, there will be access to the sports clubs from both the B4042 and Coped Hall Roundabout.

While works take place on the roundabout, access from Coped Hall roundabout will not be possible. However, there will be access from the B4042 (Brinkworth direction). There will be a signed diversion route in place for the full duration of any closures.

No access to the sports clubs from Royal Wootton Bassett during closed hours. Access will be available at all times from the Brinkworth direction.

All works staff are trained on access for emergency vehicles, which are permitted immediate access.
