Exactly one month to go until The Woodchurch Flower and Produce Show!

It's getting time to look at your flowers, your veggies, thinking what you might bake or a craft you might enter.

If you've never shown before it really is a fun thing to do and to join in with our lovely community spirit.

There will be stalls on the green, teas, cake and food as well, something for everyone.

Lots for the kids too so come along! Even a scarecrow competition!

You never know you could go away with a prize and even be presented with a cup or two! 🏆

Wonderful to see the bees doing their thing on the Canterbury bells. There are more bees around this year I think but still no where near the amount we had only just a few years ago..... How we took them for granted.....

We have had some beautiful balmy early summer evenings lately, but not this evening unfortunately....so it is a huge thank you to these lovely ladies who braved the weather.

In the end it didn't rain so we had a really interesting tour and lots of flowery chat.

I look forward to seeing you next month when the plot will have moved on and there will be new flowers to enjoy.

Come and join us in July, August and September. The first Tuesday of each month.

Nearly a whole month had passed by since our first flower farm tour, where did that time go?

So next Tuesday 3rd June 6.30 to 7.30 pm, we will be offering another tour for just £10.

For those who came in May, this month gives us so many more flowers. It's really interesting to see how the plots change from month to month.

Come and join us for a lovely evening stroll amongst the flowers.

There will be bunches of flowers on offer and magnificent peonies too.

These farewell flowers are completely compostable.

There is a choice these days so why would you choose a flotal tribute for your loved ones, the last thing you can do for them, that is made of plastic and wire and Oasis that will stay on this planet and contaminated it?

Doesn't make sense does it?
