With our full autumn folk season now on sale, it's time to take a closer look at what's coming up. First up this September is a live celebration of Nic Jones’ music, performed by BBC Folk Award winner Sam Carter!

The Conservatoire Folk Ensemble was founded in 1997 by acclaimed fiddle player and arranger Joe Broughton, and is still based at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire today.
