🌿✨ WREATH WORKSHOP MAGIC ✨🌿

Last night we opened the doors of our family-run flower shop, Richards Floral Design, for the loveliest wreath workshop — and what a gorgeous evening it was! 💚

We had a small, cosy group of students who came together with friends and family to create their very own individual door garlands. The creativity, the laughter, the festive spirit… it all made the shop feel extra special. 🎄🤍

Watching everyone put their personal touch into their designs reminded us why we love what we do — sharing our passion and expertise in wreath making and seeing people walk away proud of their creations.

✨ We’re still buzzing from our wreath workshop at The Barley Mow in Penn on Saturday — honestly, it was such a lovely day and everyone made the most beautiful wreaths. It really reminded us why we love doing this so much. 💚🌿

Tonight we’re heading over to The Broadway Pub in Short Heath, and we can’t wait to spend the evening getting festive with you all. These workshops have become such special moments for us.

Saturday at Richard’s HQ is now completely fully booked (all time slots!) — thank you so much for all the support, it means the world. 🤍

We’ve managed to squeeze in one last time slot for Sunday at 10am at our shop. This will be our final wreath class of the year, and we’d love to see a few more of you there before we wrap up for Christmas. 🎄💫

Dave isn’t just a rock icon — he’s a local legend and one of our favourite customers. He trusts us with his flowers, and honestly, what a genuinely good guy!

Did you know, years ago we created the flowers when Noddy Holder got the keys to the city? — so having Dave shop with us feels like Christmas royalty popping in! 👑💐

🌸✨ Just received a gorgeous traditional bouquet? Here’s how to keep those blooms fresh and thriving:

💐 Unwrap & Trim – Gently remove wrapping and cut stems at an angle (about 1–2 cm).
💧 Fresh Water – Place in a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water. Change water every 2 days.
🌿 Remove Leaves – Strip off any foliage that will sit below the waterline to prevent bacteria growth.
☀️ Perfect Spot – Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and ripening fruit.
🌹 Flower Food – If included, add it to the water to nourish your blooms.
