Happy New Year everyone! Hope you are all keeping safe and well... πŸ’•

Well 2020 was meant to be a busy year for us but we only managed 3 weddings at the start of the year in the end πŸ₯Ί Who would have thought it?!

I will be contacting couple's 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date to confirm the finer details of your day. If you need me beforehand, do not hesitate to get in touch!

Messages seem to be working at the moment! But if I don't respond in a timely manner, please feel free to message again as it is usually because of the lack of notification.

Can't wait to finally get to style your big days! 😘

Information posted by Guides for Brides which may be of use to some of you πŸ’•

'❀️ ❀️ 🍾🍾. We had the news we were hoping for overnight; weddings permitted from 4th July in England will INCLUDE Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, not just marriages in Places of Worship.

There is no official confirmation yet from the General Register Office on whether weddings will be restricted to Register Offices or will be allowed in Approved Venues but the unofficial information we have been given is that there seems no reason it can't include Approved Venues, as long as they are Covid-safe. Guides for Brides have a Track & Trace app available for couples, venues and planners to help comply with any regulations.

Although "close friends and family" can attend the ceremony, any celebrations must comply with social distancing rules, so a maximum of 2 households, or 6 people from different households. This means that you can't hold a reception for the 30 guests who were at the ceremony.'

U P D A T E // Following yesterday's update regarding COVID-19 we are in the process of touching base with our August brides, just to offer reassurance that we are still here and supporting any postponements that may occur following the announcement.

If you have us booked for your 2020 wedding and you would like a chat, please feel free to message us and we'll support you as best we can! πŸ’•

Our hearts go out to all couple's who have been affected in these unprecedented times. Just remember even if your big day is having to be moved... Love is patient 😘

M O R N I N G // Sorry we've been a little quiet lately, as you can imagine it's a big adjustment to everyone at the moment!

We've been keeping in touch with all of our affected couple's and working to rearrange their dates where possible.

As times are still so uncertain and we don't know how long this will go on for, if any of my couple's from July onwards are considering postponement, please get in touch as the earlier we can look at our availability for potential new dates, the better as we want to avoid disappointment where possible!

We're so sorry you are having to go through this... We loved this quote though as a big part of your wedding day is the countdown, but maybe this will change your perspective and rather than counting down, you will make each day count... πŸ’•

Stay safe 😘

COVID-19 Update

Following Friday's news, we have been in touch with all of our March, April, May and June couples to reassure them that we will happily work with them to transfer bookings to their new dates (subject to availability), so far all who have needed to postpone we have been able to accommodate, which is great!

It is heartbreaking that so many people are facing postponement and these are definitely unprecedented times for everyone involved, however we want to assure you that we will work with you to minimise any disruption around your day/booking.

We know that this could also affect our couples with weddings later on in the year if they are affected financially during these coming weeks/months. If you fall into this category please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your booking further, just drop us an email and we will get back to you ASAP.

Stay safe! πŸ’•
