Just a heads up, we have no quiz on a Monday for the next few weeks! It’s bank holiday coming up and our Mick is on his jollies! So quiz night will be back on Monday 21st September!

What are you doing Saturday 29th August?

We have four homeless hounds joining us on the catwalk (aka dog walk) Saturday between 12 and 4pm. Stormy, Penny, Roger and Sanka are going to showing caring what Home Run Hounds Greyhound Charity No 1209071 do every day!

We have a huge raffle, a bottle tombola, the fabulous Darcie Edwards will be singing, our resident DJ and compere Croft Entertainment will be guiding you through the afternoon!

Hot snacks, our lunch menu, Windmill Bakery cobs, butchers scotch eggs, the chunkiest chips.. and all on your doorstep at The Red!

🐾 CALLING ALL AMAZING WOMBOURNE, KINGSWINFORD AND STOURBRIDGE BUSINESSES! 🐾

Louise Westwood is organizing a charity fundraiser in aid of Home Run Hounds Greyhound Charity No 1209071. They do incredible, volunteer-led work rehoming retired racing greyhounds right here in our local area!

We are hosting a massive community fundraising day on Saturday 29th August here at the wonderfully dog-friendly 🦁 Red Lion Wombourne on Battlefield Hill in Wombourne 🦁 and we are looking for some fabulous local raffle prizes!

We have organised for the fabulous Darcie Edwards Sings and Croft Entertainment to entertain you and compete the afternoon. We’ve also donated a gift voucher of £50 for here at the Red for one of the raffle prizes!

If you run a local independent shop, grooming salon, cafe, or business and could kindly donate a raffle prize (a voucher, a gift, or a small treat basket), we would be so incredibly grateful! 🙏

In return for your kindness, we will:
✅ Feature your business on their raffle display on the day.
✅ Give your business a huge public shoutout during the raffle draw.
✅ Tag and promote your page heavily across local Facebook groups.
