ANNOUNCEMENT AND VACANCY

Tom (Ted), our wonderful bass player, has asked us to find a replacement for him.
We've had a fantastic 10 or so years together, however we respect his decision and fully understand his reasoning 🙏

He is going to honour all booked gigs to the year end, or until a replacement is found and up to speed, whichever comes sooner, so if you're a venue with a Hard Graft booking, it's business as usual (y)

VACANCY:

ff you're a great bass player, ideally between 20 and 35, and want to join a decent rock covers band, do please get in touch 🤘

We now gig one or two times a month, at muso venues, biker bashes, and festivals/clubs - all paid gigs - in and around the Midlands

We try to rehearse (for free) weekly in South Birmingham, when diaries line up.

To fit the bill, you'll need to be a great player, committed to moving forward with the band, and have your own gear and transport.

You voted… and the results are in!
Alabama Crow have officially won the Ascendancy Festival 2026 Vote‑Back and will return in 2027 to headline the Breaking Bands Stage on Sunday night!

In an emotional video, Billy said he was “absolutely speechless,” thanking fans and the festival team for “taking a punt on us this year, as Scottish bands don’t always get a look in.” He signed off with the now‑iconic: “Let’s flocking crow!”

We’re also buzzing to announce that band applications for 2027 are now open - and every band that applies will invited to enter into our brand‑new Road to Ascendancy competition. The winner will open the entire festival weekend!

2027 already features:
