We'd like to remind all grassroots bands out there we are still on the hunt for more to be added to our line-up for the 11th chapter of our award winning festival. We don't mind if you have 5 spotify listeners a month, 100 followers on IG and FB or only a few likes on your posts. This is about the music. So if you want to play a festival that is built for your band, get your application in. All bands get listened to by our team and some bands will even get offered sub-headline slots without the need for voting, battle of the bands or any other form of getting onto a line-up. Any young bassists looking for a band?
Up and coming young band from Kidderminster with lots of gigs and festivals in the diary!

We’re on the hunt for a new bassist to join Retsecrows – a young, ambitious rock/metal band from the West Midlands.

We’ve played 20+ gigs this year alone, have 12 more booked for 2025, and we’re heading back into the studio soon to record two brand new singles. We’ve also got two major festivals lined up for 2026 and growing interest from people in the industry.

We’re looking for a bassist with:
🎸 Great skills
⚡ Rock/metal in their blood
🤝 The right vibe to fit the band

We’re young (current members are all under 18), but if you’re older (or super young) and feel like you’d be a good fit, let’s talk.

No pressure, we’ve got a stand-in for our current shows, so if you’re interested, come meet us, jam with us, and let’s see how it feels. There’s a 3-month trial, then we go permanent if it clicks.

We have had the honour of supporting many great acts such as Amorphis, Sonata Arctica, Queensrÿche, Apocalyptica, Evergrey, My Dying Bride, Leaves’ Eyes and many more…

We also had the privilege of playing the Sophie Lancaster stage at Bloodstock Festival in 2024 🔥
