Today our little business turns a whole three years old!! Which has got me reflecting on the start of our journey!!
I started That Grazy Girl when I was going through a bit of a tough time, I hadn’t long had my daughter and made a huge career move to a new sector - a sector I love and still do! However, whilst most of the people in my new work place were lovely… I experienced bullying in the work place by one ‘lady’ in particular who made my and other staff members lives hell.
Not knowing what to do for my next steps and feeling anxious and unhappy, with support of my incredible Husband, I started Grazy Girl on a whim to take back some control, with my mom joining me to share the load and reduce any feelings of self doubt (3 years on and I still get this!!) Boy am I’m glad we did!
I now work in the same sector at a different authority and I am part of the best, most wonderful, supportive and hilarious team, whom I adore and we have the most wonderful business and we just keep building!
I suppose what I have learnt is;
Happy people don’t make others unhappy and some people will never support you because it’s you - even if I don’t say it - I see it 😂👀 - but for every person that doesn’t support you there are 5 that do!
And finally you never know where things can lead so take that leap of faith!! - Kindness ALWAYS wins! 🧡
I am truly grateful to each and every customer we have, returning again and again, customers turning to friends, for the likes, the shares, the comments, the recommendations, the hype girls and for being there for us the last three years!! THANK YOU!!!!!!
