The Botley Hill Wedding Team 🤍
A little reintroduction to the faces behind the weddings and events at The Barn at Botley Hill, Carla, Lily and Kate (and Rachel!)

We're the team behind the emails, meetings, planning, last-minute questions and little details, making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Our aim is simple, to be there when you need us, to know the details inside out and to make sure our couples feel looked after every step of the way.

We're lucky to have such a brilliant team, and particularly proud of the continuity within it. Kate has been at The Barn since soon after it opened in 2019, Rachel and Lily since summer 2021 and Carla joined us just over a year ago. Between us we have nearly two decades of experience running events at Botley Hill.

Rachel is currently working remotely while pursuing an adventure in Australia, so you might not see her face quite as much but you'll still have her expertise at the end of an email (even if it arrives at an odd time of day!)

We're look forward to celebrating with all our upcoming couples and, as always, if we can help in any way, please just let us know! 🤍

We couldn't let International Cat Day go past without showing our resident office cat some love.

Alley found his forever home at The Barn at Botley Hill several years ago when our head groundsman adopted him, and since then he has become an integral part of the team. He loves overseeing the morning set up, patrolling the grounds and takes meet and greet duty very seriously when guests arrive.

If you haven't met him when visiting it's probably because he's asleep on the printer or insisting the office furniture is rearranged.

The first outdoor ceremony of 2026 at The Barn at Botley Hill was a stunner.
The May heatwave came at the perfect time, and the groom wore shorts.

The ceremony took place with views across the rolling Surrey Hills and meadow flowers lining the aisle.

This wedding had sunshine, bubble guns, cardboard cut out of the couple and a lot of dancing. 🪩✨
