A little reminder to do your wedding your way! When I spoke to Daisy about her Christmas wedding and she shared with me about her red wedding dress I was SO EXCITED for her and her wedding, and doesn't she look incredible and so full of joy!

I'm a huge advocate of your wedding your way and honestly all the rules around what you 'should and shouldn't do' are open for negotiation.

❤️So if you want to walk yourself down the aisle go for it.
❤️If you want to swerve the white dress for something more 'you' go for it.
❤️If you'd prefer to elope, do it.
❤️Bridal hoop or corsage instead of a bouquet - I'm in!
❤️Alpacas at the drinks reception - sounds incredible.

For our own wedding we did a cake of cheese, our mums were the flower girls and our first dance became a conga with all our guests, because that's what we wanted.

If it will make you BOTH happy, do it 😘

Little finishing touches or going all out... Both can bring lovely cohesion to your wedding.

You can choose a large display or even just a touch here and there goes a long way to creating a cohesive wedding asthetic.

Drinks receptions and bar areas are fab oppirtunities to repurpose your ceremony flowers so you get decorations captured in your candid guest photos.

Top tip - Your catering staff will love you if you check with your venue or catering company to make sure that your plamned decorations won't be in the way of them serving your refreshments.
They may even have some ideas and examples of their own to discuss with you! Just make sure they compliment everything else 😉
