Tuesday night will be our first ever game at Woking Park, our new home, and it’s a massive moment for this club.
KPR started 18 years ago when a couple of friends were having a few beers in a garden in Surrey, talking about how they “still had it” and decided to start their own football club. Since then we’ve climbed seven divisions and now, 18 years later, we’re finally moving into a 1,500-capacity ground that we can call home. Madness.
Woking Park. Home of Westfield FC, and now the home of Keens Park Rangers. 💛🖤
The club has grown massively over those 18 years, with so many fantastic people joining us along the way. KPR has become a huge part of so many of our lives and we feel incredibly lucky to have it. We absolutely love this club and it’s hard to explain what it means unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s more than just playing/watching football, it’s a community and something you truly feel part of. We know what KPR has given us and it’s been massive. We really just want more people to experience that with us.
Woking Park gives us one of the best grounds in Surrey, a great clubhouse, we now have £5.50 pints (can’t go wrong with that around here) butcher’s burgers and hot dogs, but most importantly it gives us a home we can really be proud of and a place where we can welcome more people into our community.
Our first game at Woking Park is Tuesday 25th August, 7:45pm KO, and we’d love to get as many people down as possible.
Come down, bring your mates, bring the family, have a few drinks and enjoy it with us. It’s going to be a really special evening and we genuinely can’t wait to get started.
WE ARE F*CKING KPR. 💛🖤
