Emergency call out to a walk-in fridge full of stock with temperatures rising. Every food business’s worst nightmare, with the risk of losing thousands of pounds of stock.

Attended site within two hours by our refrigeration team. Faulty solenoid replaced from van stock. System fully back up and running with no loss of stock.

This week we’re back on site at our largest project to date. The new extraction canopy is now in place, setting things up for the next phase of the cook line installation. Working alongside contractors who take pride in their work and do things properly makes a real difference. Plenty more activity coming on site over the next few weeks.

As we look back over 2025, we just want to say thank you.

Thank you to our customers for the trust and continued support, and to our suppliers for backing us day in, day out. The numbers tell part of the story, but behind every job is a relationship and a team effort.

We’re heading into 2026 with a full diary already and plenty to get stuck into. Looking forward to building on this year and getting on with the work ahead.

A great way to close out the year.

This project took a commercial kitchen from concept to delivery, replacing tired domestic counters and cabinetry with a robust, hygienic stainless steel setup designed around how the space is actually used.

From early design visuals through strip-out and final install, the focus was on getting the fundamentals right. Clean lines, durable materials, and a layout that supports workflow rather than working around it.

A big thank you to everyone involved in getting this completed before year end, and to the client for trusting us with the process.

Our largest project to date
Phase One complete.

Phase one of this major refurbishment is now signed off, starting with a full strip-out of the kitchen and servery.

What makes this project especially exciting for us is that Tyrrell Services is acting as the Principal Contractor, meaning we are responsible for managing and delivering every aspect of the refurbishment.

Project scope includes:
• Brand new commercial kitchen
• New ventilation system
• Upgraded mechanical & electrical services
• Creation of a new walk-in freezer
• New servery
• Colleague kitchenette

Running point on a project of this scale is a great opportunity to demonstrate what we can deliver. Not just technically, but in terms of organisation, quality, and attention to detail. We’re proud to be setting the standard and look forward to sharing progress as the project continues.

Saturday morning install for one of our major pub group clients.

Both fryers failed on Thursday beyond repair, with oil leaking onto the burners — a serious fire risk.

We ordered two brand-new fryers straight away, and thanks to great service from Lincat, they were delivered to our warehouse on Friday.

Our engineers were on-site first thing Saturday morning to install, test, and commission both units — all ready for a busy weekend of trade.

The first week of half term and our teams have been busy! 💪

A whopping 234 individual pieces of catering and refrigeration equipment have been PPM serviced this week.
That’s 234 pieces of equipment that have undergone full safety checks, been inspected for faults, and had their life expectancy extended — keeping kitchens running safely and efficiently.
