I guess there’s never a good time to tell people that you’re closing 😞 Sadly we’ve made the decision to move house and obviously the eucalyptus won’t be coming! Don’t unfollow me yet - the new buyers might be continuing in some form but that’s it from me. Thank you all for your wonderful support over the past two years. I’ve met some great people, learnt a lot and had a thoroughly good time but on to pastures new I go 💚 Happy New Year to you all 💥

Getting ahead for all the lovely orders coming in for tomorrow 💚
Next Monday is my last day posting for a week as I’m off for half term so if you would like to order eucalyptus next week please let me know before Monday.
Why not add me to your favourites to keep ahead of box posting updates closer to Christmas and updates for the days that I’m close to capacity so that you can get those last minute orders in!
I’m blessed with so many lovely customers that things are looking busy already through November and towards Christmas 💚

QUESTION TO FLORISTS
I over-cut some of the short 30cm lengths for my wreath boxes today and lots of them were more 50cm or even close to 60cm (I found a magic tree that kept on giving!)
If you ordered a box of 30cm lengths and when the box arrived they were quite a bit longer would you be disappointed that you didn’t get what you had ordered - or happy to have extra lengths?

I’ve had a flurry of new followers recently so I thought that I’d do a quick intro. I’m Kate, a second year eucalyptus grower in Kent. I definitely feel like I’m still learning but I’ve built up a wonderful customer base over the past year and a half (mostly florists) and absolutely love receiving feedback from my customers as 99% of it has been fantastic! The eucalyptus field had been let go for the past 25 years so bringing it back to life has been an amazing experience if not always easy. I don’t spray so am constantly fighting brambles and thistles (the brush cutter is my best friend) It’s mostly winter work so I can be found in the field on the coldest wettest days. I’ve got a great selection of thermals and waterproofs! In summer I return to my other passion - breeding rare breed chickens 🐣

Although the cooler temperatures are playing havoc with the dahlias, it’s just what the eucalyptus needs to harden off and reach its peak.
