and just like that, our wildly busy and crazy summer season draws to a close and we’re moving into the quieter, calmer end of the year.
This summer has been full of so much love, creativity, support, adventures, long drives, tons of laughter, fu** loads of sweeping, multiple headaches, a seriously long heat wave, a bank saga (update - still not received our money back 🫠) and a near death experience with a mezzanine floor 😵💫 so I think I can safely say on behalf of all of the team that a quieter couple of months is definitely needed 🤣
I’ve learnt a lot this summer but I’m entering this next season full of absolute gratitude for the incredible team around me. The girls work tirelessly throughout summer often with very little rest in between and they create the MOST BEAUTIFUL arrangements filled with love, my husband picks up all the childcare & always has dinner ready after a long day (he’s also pretty handy at helping clean the studio ) and my family and friends are always the first ones offering support, guidance and help at every step.
You might chat to me on calls and over email but it’s a much bigger team working alongside me at every single wedding, putting in days of work before your big day, setting up and designing and waking up early to clear down… and for that, I’m endlessly grateful!! We’ve flowered at well over 60 weddings this year and we have just 10 left, eeekkk! What a year… and to think this all started from little old me, selling doorstep flowers through Covid 🤣✨🤍
