CREATED TO CAPTIVATE.

For this design, it was the oversized pink ruffles that captivated. Soft, romantic and a little dramatic, especially surrounded by all those incredible flowers and candlelight.

There’s so much scope to be creative with a wedding cake, so why settle for something you’ve seen before? My 2026 and 2027 diary is open for couples who want their cake to be remembered 🤍🌸🌿

A little look at Jade & Ewan’s beautiful wedding day at 🤍🌸

Elegant, modern and endlessly romantic. They had fallen in love with the vertical wafer paper design and knew exactly how they wanted theirs to look, right down to the width of the individual strips. Three tiers, loads of texture and a really clean, modern finish.

Inside, they chose Biscoff, Coconut & Raspberry and Lemon, with a different flavour for each tier 🥄

I always love seeing the professional photographs afterwards and getting to see the cake as part of the full celebration! Get in touch to start creating a cake that feels every bit as personal as the rest of your wedding!

DESIGNED WITH CONFIDENCE.

I absolutely loved creating this cake for the latest editorial at . The design was all about height, shape and draping, with the fabric-inspired detailing running through the tiers and giving an otherwise clean white cake so much movement. It felt modern, a little fashion-led and exactly right amongst the incredible styling created for the shoot.

Editorials like this are always such a treat to be part of. You get a room full of brilliant people, everyone bringing their own ideas and skills, and then you see it all come together in the final images!

The full shoot is featured in Tie The Knot Scotland's new October/November issue, out now 🤍

Looking back at Gillian & Steven’s wedding from last September 🤍🌿

They wanted a cake that felt timeless and modern, but still had plenty of impact. We went tall with the tiers, then added pearls, white silk ribbon and fresh florals to bring in softness and detail.

And they definitely made the most of the flavour choices: Vanilla, Sticky Toffee, Biscoff, White Chocolate & Raspberry and Salted Caramel & Flake.

A statement cake in every sense, and such a beautiful set-up to be part of. For a wedding cake that deserves its own moment, secure your 2026 or 2027 date via the link in my bio.

The wedding cake, but make it a statement piece 🤍

Soft ivory, delicate texture, sculptural florals and trailing silk ribbon come together in this beautifully modern design, proving you don’t need colour or elaborate decoration to make an impact.

Minimal, romantic and almost too beautiful to cut into!

A little look back at Emma & Jamie's wedding day 🌹

This was one of those weddings where everything worked so well together. The soft draping on the cake, the flowers by and the setting at all had the same feel, which made the whole set-up come together beautifully.

Emma & Jamie had fallen in love with a cake I'd created for the recent Your Scottish Wedding magazine shoot at The Collectors Hall. Rather than recreating it, we used it as the starting point, adjusting the proportions and draping to suit their wedding and finishing the tiers with a subtle embossed texture using my favourite .options rolling pin.

For their flavours, they chose Dairy Free Biscoff, Scottish Tablet, Lemon and Chocolate Salted Caramel, so there was something for everyone around the table.

I always love it when one design inspires another, but it's even more rewarding when it becomes something completely new for another couple. Get in touch to start designing a statement wedding cake that's completely your own.

You probably won't like working with me if...
..you're after exactly what everyone else is having.
..you think flavour doesn't matter because "it's only wedding cake."
..you're looking for the cheapest quote.
..you'd rather choose a cake from a catalogue than create one together.
..you'd rather play it safe than create something people will remember.

But...

If you want a cake that's designed around your wedding, your style and your ideas, we'll probably get on just fine.

I'm Alison, the face behind The Kilted Cake Company, and I've spent the last 10 years creating modern wedding cakes for couples who want something a little different.

Let's make your cake the one everyone remembers. Get in touch at www.thekiltedcakecompany.co.uk 🖤

MODERN. CREATIVE. FEARLESS.

That's the approach I bring to every wedding cake I design.

I love working with couples who want to step away from the expected and create something that feels personal to them. Whether that's bold texture, unusual shapes, a modern colour palette or a detail inspired by your dress, your venue or your story, I'm here for it.

No two weddings are the same, so I don't think the cakes should be either.

Bring me your ideas, your inspiration, or even just a feeling you want your day to have, and let's turn it into something people won't forget.

My diary for 2026 and 2027 is open. Get in touch and let's start designing your wedding cake 🤍🌿

The most memorable wedding cakes rarely start with, "Let's do what everyone else is doing."

They're the ones where we stopped worrying about what a wedding cake "should" look like and started thinking about what suited the couple instead.

Bring me your ideas, and let's create something people haven't seen before.
