Isn’t it great that summer finally feels like it’s on the way ☀️

It’s been a long winter… not loads going on for me and Russell. Well, that said, Russell’s been busy starting a new business doing training on construction sites and farms (which he’s absolutely loved), but that’s starting to wind down now as it’s quite seasonal.

So now it’s all about getting ready for marquee season 👀

I’ve been keeping myself busy with a bit of painting, walking the dogs, and plenty of coffee dates with friends ☕🐾 but now it’s nearly time to get properly back to it… probably more so for me than Russell!

We’re both ready though… bring on the busy season 💪✨

Down at the unit today and it’s full steam ahead 🚛💨

Russell’s officially finished his winter teaching job, so now it’s all hands on deck getting everything ready for wedding season.

It’s a big sort-out day… checking, counting, organising – making sure every last bit is exactly where it should be. Plus, new racking going in today 🙌

Over the next few months I’ll (hopefully!) have lots more to show you behind the scenes… but for now, it’s Russell and Glenn hard at it getting everything prepped and ready 💪

Spring is on its way, and the daffodils are finally starting to appear again 🌼

This beautiful setup was one we created a couple of years ago using our vintage trestle tables and folding chairs, dressed with our blue and white china, vintage silver cutlery, and lots of blue and white vases filled with fresh daffodils. It was such a bright, elegant look — timeless, fresh, and perfect for a spring celebration.

There’s something so special about mixing vintage pieces with seasonal flowers. It creates a relaxed, romantic feel that you just can’t replicate with modern hire.

All of our marquees are proper canvas – never plastic – with beautiful wooden poles for that timeless, elegant look.

The marquee you can see here is a 60 x 40, styled with a stunning vintage ladder ceiling feature, softly lit with festoon lighting and finished with wild English flowers. It honestly looked magical.

This photo was taken the day before, all set and ready to rock and roll – just waiting for the chairs and guests to arrive 🥂
