A few things we’ve noticed recently at OSA 👀

1. We’ve been caught out far too many times recently by you all showing up when we weren’t expecting it! 😂

We normally try to judge how busy we’ll be based on what’s programmed, but you’re increasingly proving us wrong and just turning up regardless.

We’re definitely not complaining — please keep catching us out!

2. You’re really open to trying new things.

Whether it’s Cam’s special Saturday menus, a b**r from a brewery you’ve never tried before or a passionfruit iced tea, you’re a pretty adventurous bunch.

That gives us loads of freedom to experiment, change things up and keep introducing you to something new.

3. You’re still discovering us!

Every single week we meet new people who live locally but have only just found OSA.

Building a genuine community takes time, but we can really see it starting to come together. Familiar faces, new faces and people bringing their friends back with them.

4. Vegans will travel for good food 🌱

We get lots of people visiting us specifically because they’re looking for great plant-based food, even when they don’t live locally.

And actually, we think Windsor is a pretty brilliant place to visit if you’re interested in culture and independents. We’ve got two arts centres, three breweries and loads of community-minded independent pubs, bars and restaurants.

On a Sunday, you can pretty much find free live music happening across different Windsor venues from 1pm through to 9pm. That’s pretty special for a town our size.

5. We can see the buzz.

People genuinely seem to have a great time in our event space.

Performers and organisers regularly send us lovely messages afterwards about the venue, while gig-goers often have that same feeling of having stumbled across a little hidden gem.

And that feels like a win-win.

Artists get a room full of people who are genuinely there to listen and discover something. Audiences get to experience brilliant artists they might never have come across otherwise.

Because really, nobody loses at a gig when people show up. ❤️
