🌞 Our Summer Open Evening is BACK! 🌿✨

We’re so excited to invite you to our second ever Summer Open Evening at Town Head Estate – and trust us, it’s going to be magical. 💫

Expect all the things you loved from our January event – delicious food, stunning cakes, fizz flowing freely, dreamy florals and styling inspo – but this time, we're turning up the sunshine. ☀️🌸

Think:
🍾 Golden hour at the Boat House
🌳 Lawn games in the orchard
🌼 Flowers in full bloom
🛶 Fizz on the jetty, maybe even a paddle…

And the Barn? Glowing in the evening light and filled with incredible ideas for your big day.

Our amazing suppliers (who we love and are so grateful for!) will be joining us once again to chat all things weddings and help you plan something truly unforgettable.

We’re so excited to invite you to our second ever Summer Open Evening at Town Head – and trust us, it’s going to be magical. 💫

STOP THE PRESS!!!

We’re launching the dates for our January 2025 Open Weekend!!! Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th January 2025 to be more precise! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We will be flinging open the doors, cracking open the fizz, and welcoming you with open arms for a day filled with all things gorgeously weddingy. There will be sumptuous styling, delicious food, stunning florals, everything your wedding day should be filled with and more besides. ❤️❤️❤️

This is no ordinary Open Weekend. This is a chance to experience Town Head looking like the glittery princess she is, with handpicked suppliers to make it truly shine. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

There will be music, there will be cake, there will most likely be donkeys, although they are contrary beasts and may choose to vanish completely for the day. They joys of being freerange. 🙄😂

And speaking of freerange, you will be free to roam to your heart’s content. From the Barn, through the cottages, to the Beauty Room, the gardens, the lake view terrace, and beyond, all the way down to the Boat House where we will top up your fizz aboard the gorgeous luxury yacht Marguerite. We’ll even give you a lift in our trusty wedding buggy.

If you haven’t yet booked your venue, come along and soak it all in. Our expert wedding team will be on hand to answer any questions you might have, and to chat through your plans. The entire venue, gardens, grounds, and accommodation will be open for you to discover, and we’ll give you all the information you could possibly need to plan a wedding that will make your heart sing. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

And if you have already booked your special day with us, then we’d love to see you for a catch up! There will most likely be questions to be asked, and inspiration to be had. We love seeing all our couples and you might as well make the most of a day at TH in comfortable shoes.

Sabina and Lucy and their beautiful wedding that was not in the least bit dampened by the great British summer!

We declined their very kind offer to invite George to the festivities, as we decided that even the most enthusiastic of dog foster carers (as these brilliant two are) probably wouldn’t appreciate a giant hairy black and invariably sopping wet dog greeting all of their guests at head height, still he was very flattered to be asked. 🥰🥰🥰

Much as though we miss the willow tree, we could never get shots like this before…..so every cloud! 🙃

It’s all go for a same day changeover today, cottages are being cleaned, lawns are being mowed, the barn is being decorated and summer feels like it’s finally here!

Everything in the garden is literally and gloriously rosy!

Very much looking forward to our Open Evening on 14 July so we can show you all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alex and Chris. A more local yet exotic wedding you cannot imagine.

These epic world travellers were hot off the plane from Malawi (dog in tow!) where they’ve lived and worked for the past few years, yet the sense they were coming home to get married was overwhelmingly wonderful. My hairdresser the day before mentioned that one of her clients was getting married with us the next day. The choir where our 8 year old daughter now sings in Kendal came along to perform during the wedding, as that was the very same choir Alex belonged to when she was growing up here.

We are a family run venue, and family is at the very heart of what we do, so it’s wonderful when the whole community seems as excited as us to be celebrating such a special day. Congratulations Alex and Chris! ❤️❤️❤️
