If your guests are staying in Farm Cottage, they’re in for a treat.

Immersed in modern country styling – three bedrooms, each of them different, each of them gorgeous, and with a bathroom for everyone.

A fully fitted eat in kitchen, a cosy living room with a log burner… fizz and beer waiting for them in the chiller, and a hamper full of treats after their journey. An inbuilt sound system and the hot tub ready to go…

What do we love about intimate weddings? Well, in the best possible way, sometimes the rulebooks can go out of the window…

Can you realistically serve hot food over several courses for 100 people in any location you choose? Probably not.

But, you can you create the most wonderfully summery menu to share with a table full of your favourite people and watch whilst they tuck into an absolute treat of a feast that you have designed, just for them, just for today, just for here, in the most picture perfect garden that you have only seen in your wildest Pinterest board dreams? Yes you can.

We want to hear your ideas, and we’ll always tell you what is possible. If it can be done, we’ll be as excited as you are, and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen. If it can’t, then we’ll work with you to come up with something just as fabulous.

This is where it all begins. It’s the Honeymoon Cottage, but it’s so much more than that.

It’s where you finally put your bags down after months of planning. Where your shoulders drop and you breathe a sigh of relief that it’s finally here. You hang up your dress, unpack, and catch a glimpse of the Barn from the bedroom window, knowing that tomorrow it all becomes real.

It’s where you open that first bottle of fizz, run a bath for a moment of quiet, or jump in the hot tub with the rest of the crew. Where the party playlist starts and your closest friends are every bit as excited as you are that the big day is almost here.

Then, after all of that, it becomes something else entirely.

Coffee, photobooths, pizzas, cocktail bars, and now this. The Sauna.

A fabulous addition to the night before, or indeed the morning after. Throw in some paddleboards, a pizza truck (care of ) and you have your own slice of pure heaven right here on the lake shore 🌊

It literally matters not a jot whether you then forget the rings or get married in a sackcloth. Your skin (and your guests) will love you forever 🤍

A glimpse into our Open Evening Showcase at Town Head!

We never stand still, so last weekend we took a fresh new look at our Open Evening format.

Instead of plying you with drinks, giving you a map and hoping you don’t miss anything, we wanted to guide you around the estate ourselves to show you just how your wedding could actually feel.

We didn’t go bigger. We went smaller, and as we know, great things come in small packages!

A “normal” welcome reception was replaced by cocktails showcased on our brand new drinks tower (fresh from the paint sprayer!), your own plate of delicious canapés, followed by a curated tour around the Estate.

We waxed lyrical about the possibilities in the Barn with street food, paused in the kitchen gardens for garden inspired cocktails, meandered to the Boat House for pizza and beer with the firepit ablaze, and invited you on board our very own luxury yacht Marguerite for fizz.

More than anything, we wanted to make sure we spent quality time with you. To get to know who our future couples might be, to give you a real feel for the journey we will take together as we help you bring your perfect day to life.

We have loved hearing your feedback and plans, and after the success of Sunday it would seem rude not to do it again.

Our next open day date will be announced soon!

You always remember your first. 5 years ago today, our first EVER couple were checking into the Estate!

Sally and Marc. We will never forget it, and we cried like babies as soon as you said the words “I do”. 🥰

Getting to that day was a journey for you, and a journey for us – and it’s only looking back that we remember the absolute chaos of the final week…..these pictures might give you a tiny glimpse of what we all went through in those last few days as we tried to build the bar, gravel the carpark, fit the furniture through the doors and chase the sheep off the lawn, but like every good fairy tale, it had the happiest of endings.

So happy 5 year anniversary to you, and to us! I think we all scrubbed up quite well….😀😀😀
