We’re beyond excited to welcome GBBO winner Matty Edgell into our Season Cookery School kitchen for a series of brand-new masterclasses.

In the Matty Edgell Afternoon Tea Masterclass, you’ll create sausage rolls, a caramel chocolate tart, and a show-stopping Paris-Brest with hazelnut praline & crème mousseline. Expect tips, tricks, and a sprinkle of Bake Off magic, all in a fun, hands-on session.

And that’s not all… We’ve paired Matty up with our very own MasterChef: The Professionals champion Tom Hamblet for an epic collaboration: Matty Edgell & Tom Hamblet Masterclass, blending pro-level technique with home-baking charm. Learn to create a stunning beef fillet with lovage emulsion and oyster mushroom jus, then finish with a decadent vanilla Basque tart topped with crumble and blackberry compote (this is serious tummy rumbling stuff!)

🚴‍♂️💛 Pedals, passion, and a purpose.

In June, Lainston House welcomed 67 incredible cyclists for the Hospitality Action annual Summer Cycle Challenge, and together, they’ve already raised nearly £40,000 (with donations still coming in!).

Every pound helps Hospitality Action continue their vital work supporting people in the hospitality industry through times of crisis, from financial hardship to mental health challenges, making a real difference when it’s needed most.

A heartfelt thank you to every rider, supporter, and sponsor who made this day possible. From breathtaking Hampshire routes to celebratory fizz at the finish line, it was a day of community, generosity, and determination.

Here’s to riding further, giving more, and helping hospitality thrive. 💛
