Jon, Aka Jolly Jon is my lovely husband. He's a mushroom farmer, amazing play facilitator, and daddy to Minnie.

He loves nature 'WOWs' and will always be found staring up at the stars ✨ dreaming up the next new adventure.

He's a fabulous didgeridoo player (you might have heard at one of our drum circles) but most of all he's the muscle (and the magic) behind Jolly Moon 🌙

This land was passed down through his family, we've just decided to make something of it now rather than wait for inheritance.

Random fact about Jon 🤗

Jon cycled around the world in 2009, took him just over 6 months and raised £100,000 for 4 UK cancer charities. Yep that's right! What an absolute legend.

Hello Humans, we've had quite a few followers recently so I thought I'd introduce myself and the Jolly tribe over the next few weeks.

Hi 👋🏻 I'm Holly, AKA Jolly Holly to the kids. I'm a songstress, passionate earth educator, nature play facilitator, creative social butterfly and drummer 🪘✨🙏🏻💕

I love a bit of yoga and spend my days looking through my binoculars whenever I can to see all the amazing wild birds here at Jolly Moon 🌙

🐯 Favourite nature Wow 😲

When in India many moons ago in monsoon season we got to see a wild Bengal tiger in Tadoba national Park. It let us follow her for a good 20 minutes before disappearing into the forest. It was breathtaking ✨ Jon shortly after proposed to me.

It's all about FLOW 😉

Our unique Forest School inspired sessions for under 5s are all about following the natural flows of play and allowing the children and the grown ups to feel calm and connected in nature.

🌞 We play make believe, we sing, we craft and we eat yummy foods from the fire. We give each other time to be. We have a weekly nature 'wow moment', yoga pose and mantra and we feel nourished.

🙏🏻 We have absolutely loved having so many wonderful humans come through our gate since we started and continue to be humbled by their loyalty.

🤗 We are fully booked for Autumn but our Spring 2026 is now open for bookings.

What a fabulous start to our Easter Nature Club sessions 😍😍😍😍😍

Thank you again to all the wonderful children for bringing their gorgeous magic ✨ we are so grateful to have this little family

We've been learning lots about Oceans recently for our home education project and the fact that our planet is 70% water gave it a huge thumbs up from me when Minnie asked if we could base this Easters sessions on it.

Isn't it mad to think we know more about space than we do our oceans!

🧑🏻‍🔬 Scientists estimate that 91% of marine species are yet to be discovered!!!

🌊 The ocean produces 50% of the oxygen we breathe

Just wow!

It's gonna be an arty one!! 🎨🎨🎨

Nature Club is a 4 hour drop and leave programme for primary school aged children held on private land in south wonston.

We follow the ethos of Forest School (led by a Level 3 Forest School Teacher) which allows children to be self-led in their learning through playing, growing and learning.

By instilling a love for the Earth and its creatures, we hope to inspire these young minds to become future stewards of our planet.

These sessions are a place to come together, play nature inspired games, learn about the natural world and enjoy some toasted snacks on the fire.

Your child will be positively engaging at Jolly Moon 🌙

I can't quite believe another year has passed. Thank you to all our wonderful customers, friends and supporters. We are truly grateful for the encouragement and love that you have given us on our project.

This will be our second winter in the Dome and we are still adjusting to our new way of life so bare with us but be sure that 2025 is being planned and an email will be dropping into your inboxes in the new year with dates and our offerings.

As you know this year started with the launch of a new business called .mushrooms which Jon and Chris are absolutely smashing !
