❤️ 🥂🎉 Wishing a very HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY to my gorgeous couple, Gemma and Ed, who married outdoors among the bluebells and celebrated in a medieval barn near Sherborne, Dorset (photos below of both settings in case you’re looking for inspiration for your own wedding).

They’d asked me to write and lead their ceremony pre-Covid and obviously had to postpone, so I couldn’t wait to finally pronounce them Husband and Wife in the natural setting they’d always hoped for. This is a great venue for a very relaxed and informal wedding - the bluebells were so pretty and the barn looked stunning. It’s incredibly well preserved! Gemma and Ed chose a hog roast and a ceilidh and you can see from the photos how much they loved their special day and what wonderful memories they made.

I absolutely love getting to know my couples (we had lunch together in a country pub the first time we met) and I can’t wait to create the baby-naming ceremony for their beautiful baby girl 😃.

If you’re looking for a celebrant for 2021 please bear with me, my website is in the process of being updated by a different designer. It will all be online again soon! Congratulations on being engaged and planning your wedding 🥂, keep going along the path towards your goal. It’s been one heck of a strange year and whatever you’re doing, you’re doing it brilliantly because we’re in a crisis unlike any other in modern times. What an incredible wedding yesterday in Croatia and I feel honoured to have been the one to write and lead their ceremony. The location was stunning and I was invited to spend the whole day and evening enjoying their celebrations with them. This is what happens when clients become friends...

So happy to have been asked to write and lead Lottie and Adam’s ceremony - such a great couple. Looking forward to hearing all about their honeymoon when we catch up on Thursday...

Delighted to share this wonderful album of photographs from Lottie and Adam's wedding. Though there was no sign of September sun, it didn't make any difference to how much the guests enjoyed themselves from the beautiful outdoor ceremony by Butterfly Days Ceremonies through to the afternoon Aperol Spritz and evening spent dancing under the stars! And of course, the guests only had a short stroll to their Glamping accommodation which was perfect! Thank you Robin Godlad Photography for sharing with us.
