A brilliant trip, a memorable journey, and a strong start to our new relationship with Yanmar. 🇫🇷🚜

Last week, Nick, Steve and Matt from Locators travelled to St Dizier for the Yanmar Dealer Conference.

The weather was excellent.�The navigation was questionable.�The driving? We’ll say no more.

After a minor disagreement with a kerb in a remote French village, the team made an unscheduled entrance into St Dizier on the back of a recovery truck accompanied, naturally, by a sleeping dog.

Thankfully, things improved from there. We made it to the evening dinner and, with a new and improved hire car, attended the factory tour and product walk-rounds the following day.

The visit was superb. High-quality Japanese equipment is firmly in Locators’ DNA, and Yanmar fits that perfectly. The new machine ranges looked excellent, the facilities were impressive, and the people behind the brand made us even more excited about the partnership ahead.

Steve was so excited, he even tried riding a horse at the services. 🐴

A brilliant evening at our first Locators Football Group End of Season Awards, celebrating a full year of bringing together colleagues from forklift sales, customer service, and storage systems for weekly team-building football sessions.

After a season of hard work, great teamwork, and plenty of Man of the Match votes, we were delighted to present our 2026 Ballon d’Or award to Tim Rose for an outstanding year.
